"Daydreamin' and I'm thinkin' of you Look at my love floating away" ~ Aretha Franklin
This Cat has joined the the fashion community. Oh, I'm Cathy by the way (:
To be honest, I'm not here to talk about the latest trends and impersonate fresh off the runway looks. Fashion is expressive and these are my creations I have put together throughout the week (OOTDs).
Also, my mood plays well into what I like to wear throughout the week.
I have fashion-bipolar-disorder or something like that.
I also like to dress up and run around the house like a silly gal, but that's another story ;)
Lately, I have been transitioning into brighter and bolder colors...slowly. To be honest, I have been feeling the post winter blues. Kansas weather is quite spontaneous and it seems I cannot drift away from certain color palettes due to it's ever so changing...forecasts. That's the midwest for you, all seasons all year round.

For this look, I paired a crochet peplum and a sublime neon skirt with a lace trim. I'm not OCD or anything, but I am peculiar about the top relating to the bottom. From a distance it seems they correlate well. The chained and ever so teal bag is another source of excitement. I toned down the look with a brown belt and wore black pumps to keep it classy.
This look also has a very cute story behind it, thus the Aretha Franklin song. When the Prabal Gurung for Target collection first came out I wanted just two things, the tropical print collar blouse, and this skirt. Sadly I couldn't find it anywhere and my Mister purchased it for me on eBay. How sweet of him!
